Connect Reading is packed with interactive content including video scenarios, animated lessons, flash activities, three different quiz types, and four reading databases. Students may watch closed-captioned videos that illustrate certain reading topics like Main Ideas, Author's Tone, and Vocabulary. Aside from practicing their new reading skills by tapping into the Readings database, students can apply the principles they are learning by taking practice, skill, or reading quizzes. Interactive Flash Activities offer students yet another fun way of practicing the skills they are learning. The Learning Plan provides a tool for students to measure their knowledge of each topic and then in areas of weakness it provides a plan to improve their knowledge, track their progress and achievements.
